there's your standard bucket hat, and then theres this wool bucket hat. handfelted in small batches in naarm / melbourne from dead-stock wool blends, the wool bucket hat is a wearable piece of craft; earthy, cozy, and definitely one of a kind.

a double layered construction keeps the cold out properly, while the extended back brim shields your neck from the breeze. the frayed, dangly brim detail gives it that perfectly undone, textural edge that looks as good as it feels.

only a handful of these were made ~ once they're gone, theyre gone!

THINGS TO KNOW

• double layer wet felted dead-stock wool blends

CARE: this item should not be washed regularly. it will shrink when washed, and shed hair fibres.

However, after washing, it can be stretched out and reshaped. This can be used to your advantage if you want to make the hat smaller, larger or fit a bit differently.

1. cold machine wash on normal cycle with gentle detergent

2. immediately after washing, pull the hat onto your head and gently but firmly pull down in all directions, also shaping the brim with your hands. It will feel tight, this is normal, just gently stretch it as needed.

3. leave it to dry sitting on a drying rack - do not hang. aprox halfway through the drying time, pull onto your head again to ensure the fit.
